The IMO Foundation abides by the Information Privacy Principles (“IPPs”) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Australia). Any personal information collected from participants, donors or alumni, which may include personal details, details of participation in IMO activities and credit card information, is treated by the Foundation according to this policy.
The Foundation may use or disclose personal information in the administration and performance of its activities, including the publication of results. The Foundation will not otherwise disclose personal information unless required or authorised by law, or with the person’s consent.
Personal information, including credit card information, collected by the Foundation when accepting donations is destroyed after the donation has been processed. It wil not be used for any form of eMarketing.
